We stayed here 3 nights and explored Cheyenne. Hosts very friendly and helpful. We will be back again to be sure.

We spent one night here returning from our Colorado trip. Although only gravel sites and little grass ( it is high desert) we were comfortable. Some highway and railroad noise but not disturbing. We also received a thank you e-mail from the hosts after our departure. A nice touch.

We spent 5 very enjoyable nights here and used it as a base for exploring Denver and the surrounding area. We were surprised to learn this was the first state park in Colorado and now it appears to be in the middle of the city. We plan on returning again.

What a nice park to visit: very clean and quiet, with friendly and courteous staff. We stopped here on the way to British Columbia and on our return home. It was a little bit difficult to find with the local road construction.

This is a nice quiet park. Very little road noise. Part of the campground have permanent residents and are separated from the rest. Sites are grass and gravel and mostly level. Good beach access. A good place to use as a base camp for exploration of the area. Friendly hosts. Plenty of shade trees.

We stayed here this past weekend. We were allowed to off-load the camper and use the truck for site seeing. Nevada Northern Railroad a must do and see. We also visited Lehman Caves National Park about 60 miles east near Baker, NV. We have stayed here in the past and always enjoyed our visit. This time was no exception. Friendly helpful folks in the office.

Highly recommend this park. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay.

This park needs some work on the site layout. Sharing the water and electical with your neighbor is a different experience. Fortunately, we were with relatives so we had no problems.

Good level concrete sites.

We had no problems with the sites. Moderately level on gravel. Some long TT's had problems getting into their site. Sould have been deisgned for the longer rigs.

Wonderful State Park . Quiet and shady. Easy off and on the freeway.

We always stay here on our way from Salt Lake City to Corvallis.
